Hello

Postby jholcomb8 » Jan 23, 2011 6:23 pm

Hello everyone,
My name is Josh and I am currently a sophomore at Berea College, in Berea, Kentucky. I went on my first caving trip a year and a half ago, and since then I've become thoroughly addicted to this wonderful sport. I squeeze in time between writing papers to get in a weekend caving trip. Sometimes I got with my experienced caving friends I have here at school, or I bring along newcomers and educate them about responsible caving and show them how to have a fun time. I am really hoping to get into vertical caving sometime in the future.

Hello! Welcome to this dark-loving, crazy and overly obsessed community!

IMO vertical caving is worth learning and buying equipment for, and I highly recommend getting with an experienced caver to learn the techniques.
