Looking For A Caver Friend

Postby Jim Scarff » Nov 15, 2010 9:16 pm

I've been trying to find an old high school friend, Rick Simpson, who used to run caving tours in Kentucky, USA. Rick are you out there? Or does anyone know if Rick is still doing caving? Thanks.

only 8 simpsons show up in the NSS member search and none are KY or have a similiar name. Then again there are a lot of non NSS cavers out there.

There are 29 Simpsons in the Dropped members list, but there is not a Rick there.

Many thanks, guys, for looking Rick up on the NSS membership list. I appreciate the effort. (According to an old yearbook, his full name is Richard Lee Simpson, in case anyone else has another idea.)

Balincaguin comes from the Zambal phrase, "Bali lan caguing" meaning "house of bats."
This was the former name of the Municipality of Mabini, Pangasinan, when it was part of the Province of Zambales (of Mt. Pinatubo Volcano fame).

If you leave a inquiry on the flicker photo, the individual that put it up can possibly get back to you w/ info. :big grin:
