Hi Dave, Haiti should be more investigated from a caving point of view, as Pat already wrote.
Before our preliminary expediton in september, I began a bibliographical search on the caves of haiti, and I have identified 10 cave names in La Gonâve from 3 sources, but without any location or description.
No caving research has been done there. The island is karstic, so no doubt you will find caves.
However, the earthquake changed a lot of things in the country, and now is maybe not the best time to go there.
