Anyone tried this one yet?

I bought one the other day and it is indeed bright. I'm not sure how durable it will be though.

Run it thru a couple of cave trips and give us a report on it.

Used it for about 6 hours yesterday underground. It did well, even in some big passage it lit everything up quite well. It has a good spot, but puts out quite an adequate peripheral light so you can actually see where you're walking.

Took a little fumbling to use the switch with gloves on, but not too bad. So far it seems like a pretty good deal for what it is, especially considering it comes in a pretty small package. If it were only waterproof it would make a good all-around light.

I bet it is a good light! I bought a Coleman Cree flashlight a few weeks ago at Wal-mart for about $18. It is a 1-watt version that runs on 3 AAAs. I didn't see it on the Wally website. I wish I had bought a AA version so it would match my other batteries. The one I bought seems sturdy and puts out a very clear, somewhat blue light. It is supposed to be 75 lumens. Compared to the 2 AA Maglite I bought, it is a hotrod. The Maglite beam stinks. It is weak and full of gaps. I will probably add the Niteize LEDs to it.
Tyrolean Traverse... I never saw so many Trekkies in one place! Personally, I like Tribbles.
