Mangled NSS NEWS poll to take

Postby Ernie Coffman » May 15, 2008 3:05 pm

Here's a poll, that has been put together by Barbara Anne am Ende--aka Squirrel Girl--for those who are getting their NSS NEWS magazines, torn, mangled, destroyed, or whatever condition. Please take a moment and go to this site and vote one of the conditions, so we can find out what's happening out there.

If you haven't seen it, I posted a thread on how often (or not) you've had your NSS New mangled:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6831 (this is found in the NSS Forum, if this doesn't work for you)

Only 14 people have voted so far.

It's not a very representative poll if you only respond if you've been mangled (I mean your NEWS was mangled) :tonguecheek:

Please vote if you don't mind, no matter what condition your News arrive.

Thank you.

I gotten my May issue of the News today and it's in fine shape.

I don't see any poll here though or I'd vote.

Ralph, it's in the NSS Topics section, below, and get the word around to others, like Barbara was hinting. :cavechat:

Because some inattentive latecomer begged for it (OK, it was me), that poll has been reopened. If you wanted to vote before but missed it, now's your chance:

Mangled NSS NEWS poll to take

Go and put your mark on the survey that Barbara put out ...many weeks ago! It's still active, from what I read. I would like to know what you mean by "managled" or is it just little tears, which I get all the time, but every so often, it looks like the machine tried eating my NSS NEWS up. Grrrrr!

This time it is a small 1/8 the page smash that makes the pages stick together. So it weas small this time sometimes it looks like some one folded it up and ripped it.

I can't remember the last time that I receive a News with the cover torn. This month, I got a copy with two covers (no doubt a collector's item) and neither were damaged. I also get the grotto copy out of our P.O. box and there it usually looks fine.

Sounds like an issue with the local/regional post system and not the sender.

I too have a problem reading my torn, travel weary copy of NSS news. All this time I've suspected my dog of reading it first...
Maybe a cover sleeve would solve the problem and save my favorite mag.
