new tan-colored Petzl Cordex gloves

The black Petzl Cordex gloves stain your hands black. My guess is that the new tan model doesn't have that problem. Has anyone used them, or know where it is possible to purchase / try them on in the United States?

I've had and used the black pair for years... never had a problem with staining.

That's just because you have naturally black skin, Raphie!

(Disclaimer: - this has no reference to anything about people who do have black skin--I've just seen a picture and his skin isn't black. I would have pulled his leg just the same if the gloves were green!)

Where did you get them? And how did you figure out what size to purchase?

They were a Christmas present from one of my (vertical caving) students, he got lucky on guessing the size. Bought them at a local climbing store.
