Members,
This post is an attempt to stave off some inevitable confusion...
I just found out, to my chagrin, that the June NSS News, already printed and sitting at the mailhouse in Texas, has a dating error on the cover. It says May 2008 instead of June 2008 on the title block on the cover...but the contents page and footers have the proper month of issue.
My bad, and unfortunately both my proofreader and the printer also failed to notice the discrepancy. I looked into having the mailer place a sticker with the right month over it, but they wanted $800 to do this and I'm sure you'll all agree that this would not be a good use of the Society's money.
First time this has happened in almost 150 issues I've put together, and hopefully never again...but it could be a collector's item in the future...
