Still not a compelling reason for me to switch all of my AA-using devices to oddball 123 batteries (even if that was possible).
But it does seem like a good reason to keep nailguns away from Li-ions... :flammable:

If a Li-ion is damaged, for instance by a sharp rock in a cave on someones helmet...

These batteries are what the sten uses.
