Caving pants---anyone try these?

Postby Rick Brinkman » Oct 27, 2007 11:03 am

I've been looking at motocross pants on eBay. They're cordura, used ones are fairly cheap ($20-30) and some even have hip pads.

So...has anyone tried these?
Caves are rare and precious things. Cavers...even more so. Treat each accordingly.

Have never thought of using motocross pants....worth a try, let us know how they work out. I use old arm pants, they are reinforced at the knees and butt. They are lightweight and very affordable at a surplus shop.

Motocross pants

I took a look at my AXO pants and the material on the front seems thinner than my meander coveralls and the back of the legs is some kind of stretchy spandex like material. I don't think the pair I have would last long in a cave.
