on the map of the site that i posted a couple of posts ago, the quiet zone is marked on the map. Anywhere else you are taking your chances of getting noisy neighbors.

I love cavers and all, but I hope there won't be 17 thousand of them up on the mountain next weekend. That would be one long line for a shower...

Hey Boogercaver,
I camped in the Chicken Loop section a couple of years ago.
It was quiet back there, but a long way from everything. It
is probably as far away as you can get from the action. A bit
too far from the shower and portajohns too for my liking. But
maybe they will provide more portajohns this year.

Someone brought this up this morning: Will the small personal campfires be allowed this year? What about grills? I was planning to cook burgers Saturday...

the bathhouse is excellent and they even have a grey water collection system for it.

The Chicken Loop is in a hilly, rocky area. The problem with porta potties is they have to be in a place that is accessible for delivery and more importantly pumping. There are some relatively inexpensive portable toilet systems you could use for those times when the need is too pressing to make it to the porta potty.

Also the Cave-In site has only been in use a few years and each year has been a learning process. Adjustments have been made as needs/problmes have been identified.
