Lost Camera at convention

Postby durkion » Jul 30, 2007 3:07 pm

I know this is a long shot, but did anyone who went to convention this year find a camera left behind at the banquet? I lost my Olympus 720 SW. It's a small digital and had a clear blue silicone sheeth on it. I really liked that camera and had some great photos on it that would be a shame to loose. I'm also a grad student and cant just go buy a new one. Please let me know if you found it!
Thanks!

I know something was said about a lost and found. But, I don't know where it is or who has it. You could try to contact some of the convention staff at nss2007.com

While cleaning up after the banquet, I found your camera at a table about 2/3 of the way back from the speakers. The table had numerous empty wine bottles on it. I turned it in to Bob Vandeventer.

What will Cara have to do to turn the camera *back* from being Bob Vandeventer? Wow. They make you a Fellow, and now you can perform Transformations...I *am* impressed!

I'd suggest a kiss on Sleeping Bob's forehead. When he wakes up: Poof, he's a camera. Jep.

Um.. ok.. so I will admit, that sounds exactly like my table. I'm so glad to hear someone found my camera. Does anyone have a contact for Bob? I members manual is still packed from my recent move.

Thanks! I'll contact Bob. I hope this is my camera. The description of the table it was found on was sadly, my table. If I do get this back, it will be yet another adventure for that camera. It was already stolen earlier in the year when a crack addict brock into my house and took that and some jewlery. He was eventually caught, the camera and my parent's wedding rings were returned.

Thanks
