Made it back to Kansas after a fast 10.5 hour drive and a 0530 "alpine start" out of camp. The kiddies loved their cave packs and other little goodies I got at Vendors Row.
Dave, Tony and Scott, thanks for some excellent vertical caving.
Scott/Julie I forgot to give you the skinny on Plunge Extreme!
Cheryl, was great to run into you again. I'll see you at Convention!
Dangerjudy: missed finding you!
Vendors, thanks for feeding my gear addiction. I promise to bring you more greenbacks at Convention.
To my erstwhile and crazy
Sewanee Mountain Grotto camp-mates: thanks for the food and entertainment. The Cascade Plunge video was awesome, even though I caught only the first half.
See ya next year!
Hard to believe it took me 30 years to make it to my first SERA. Needless to say, it was a very memorable experience. Back to clinic on Monday!

PS Learning point for the weekend: when using a double roller chest box, always make sure the standing rope is in its proper roller BEFORE leaving the pit floor, not 20 feet in the air...makes climbing much easier.
