Oh there's returns alright... just more trouble than it's worth sometimes.

I'm not sure that buying a woman is good idea. I think thety were made an illegal item by the 13th Amendment.

I thought eBay has a caveat about selling illegal items.

Women were made illegal by the 13th Amendment?

Hmm... I must have the wrong copy of the Constitution.

(Reminds me episode "The Midterms" of West Wing.)

No, women aren't illegal. Just illegal to buy and sell.

As I understand, some people try to rent them for very high prices, and a few succeed, though you have to give them back eventually. Bribery works, too. But neither transaction is a sale.

I don't believe the 13th amendment specified gender.
This pertains only to the US, of course.

Well, it wouldn't be illegal if everyone wasn't wanting to do it!!!!

I use to have one. It was great. I was really very fond of it.
But someone borrowed it and started using it (without my permission obviously!) and it never seemed to work right after that so I got rid of it.

I'd like to get another one, but there are so many makes and models to choose from, it is a little exasperating trying to find just the right one.

But the shopping is fun!!!

Who knows, maybe I will find one on vendor's row at SERA!!!!

Sorry Wayne - got a little off topic, I suppose!
Your link is hilarious!

Why is the shopping always more fun than actually having? :off topic:

Because if you don't like it you don't have to worry about keeping it! :kewl:

Well, I guess it all depends on what your expectations are! While I haven't found the exact model for me just yet, I have made some amazing friends in the process, and they mean the world to me.
A feller can't have too many friends!
And besides, I didn't say it was MORE fun, just that it WAS fun!

So, what's your sign/can I buy you another drink/do you come here often????

:kidding:

(way, way, way off topic!!!!) :off topic:

Yo Dane...I like your style. Unfortunately, I'm taken, but I'm in the same boat-- every one of the guys I met out shopping (save one, and it was a two-date thing) is still a good friend, or was until they passed away (no, I didn't do him in).

Keep that attitude and there's gonna be one lucky lady someday, and that means Dane will get lucky too!

Dane,

I feel for you man. So much so that I looked up some pickup lines for you...

"If you were a new sandwich at McDonalds, you'de be called McGorgeous."

"Let's make like fabric softner and snuggle."

(and if you get turned down, a parting shot...)

"Well, your mom was pretty good, so I figured you would be too."

(run for cover after that one)
