It is a good helmet for rock climbing...not sure about caving. Ventilation's subpar compared to many caving helmets and the shell is relatively thin. For the money and the club use, I think
THIS is a better deal. These helmets are tough! A friend of mine used one last year to escape a tricky pothole in a slot canyon. Tied a line to it and threw it repeatedly into the narrow slot above the pothole and eventually wedged well enough to anchor a batman rope exit from the keeper.
