redneck special forces

Postby hydrology_joe » Aug 24, 2006 1:01 pm

The Pentagon announced today the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces.

These Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas boys will be dropped off into Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists:

1. The season opened today.
2. There is no limit.
3. They taste just like chicken.
4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
5. They are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the death of Dale Earnhardt.

The Pentagon expects the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday.

Here in Wyoming we have more guns than people ... and elk, and deer, and sheep, and cattle.

But the upside is that the population is 50% RED with the other 50% Black & Blue.

Pennsylvanians have a day off from school on the Monday after Thanksgiving, which is the first day of hunting season. We may be northern, but we know how to hunt.

I was in Missouri a few weeks ago near Elephant Rocks (around Silver Springs area), there is some small town there that has a population of 480 something, and the liquor store sells firearms.... their sign proclaims that the have in stock 1900 weapons... by my math, I would guess that plus the number of weapons in town, they probably have 5 guns per person....

There is a liquior, drug, and sporting goods store in Casper call Bi-rite. During the 70's and earily 80's it had two drive up windows. One was the Liquior Store and the other was the Drug Store. You could also get ammo and a guns thru the Drug Store drive up window. The City thought it was a bit excessive and had them pick one or the other window in the middle 80's. They kept the Drug store window and you can still get the ammo throught it, but you have to walk in for guns and liquior now.

When my father was in High School in rural North Carolina close to 70 years ago, you could bring your hunting rifle to school; check it in at the principals office before school and pick it up after school.

In our school district in central PA (Huntingdon/Mifflin Counties), the kids still get the first 2 days of deer season. When I was in high school (25-30 yrs ago), we got the first 2 days of buck season and the first day of doe season.
Gotta love that rotary hammer drill! And to think we used to let mere rock stop us . . .
