To those hearty souls who braved the rain Friday nite to come hear our little impromptu "jam" session......THANK YOU!

.....those who didn't, missed a treat.

We had 6 guitarists/singers, a flute player, belly dancing, fire jugglers and twirlers, and a chorus line made up of "kaver's kids"! Terminal Syphons we are not, but we probably had just as much fun as they do. Thanks also to the two guys who loaned us the PA systems and mikes. We had originally planned to do this around the campfire but no one wants to take their musical instrument in the rain. With the rave reviews Sue Aughey and I have recieved, look for more and better "Cavers Entertaining Cavers" next year......

.....and, we just might even have some late night "Kaver Karoke".....!

JUDER.......YOU ROCK GIRL! This girl is totally undescribable on the guitar!

CAVE RAT.......Hope you made it back to "Sweet Home Alabama" OK with that bad flywheel. Come up with a couple more Southern Rock songs for next year......you already have a return slot! Awesome dude!

BTW.....Cavers Entertaining Cavers was the first act ever on the new stage at TOTM.......only fitting that the new stage be "broken in" by cavers!

Subject: [DCGNET] Friday Night Stage Thanks

A Humongous "Thank You" goes to all the volunteer cavers who performed at
the Friday Night Stage and around the fire: Glenn Mills, Van Cain, Judy
Ranelli, Ethan McKinsey, Olivia McKinsey, Hillary Mercer, Clay Davis, Jon
Hanson, Andrea Burgess, Kirk Digby, David "the Whistle Player", and Kyle
"the Guitar Player" as well as anyone else who I overlooked in the fog! A
special thanks goes to Glenn Mills for keeping me sane and assisting me with
the preparations. Secondly, the Sound systems were donated for the evening
by Mike Harrison and Terry Bliss...we filled the foggy night with a rocking,

good time...you have my gratitude.

I have heard many compliments and requests to do this again at TAG 29! It's
not to early to let me know if you are interested in performing next year.
I would like to find some new gigs too, so if you can entertain or know of

Well, after 3 Staters since the event, a new Fly Wheel, 8 hours of repair work, and a grand total of $310 in parts and labor, I am glad to annouce the Rat Mobile is back on the road again. I hope to not go through this again for a very, long time.
