Kevin Huntington: A True Explorer and Lover of Life

Postby EmmEeeElliiessessa » Sep 28, 2016 9:09 am

On August 13, 2016 Kevin Huntington passed away in an unfortunate mountaineering accident on Vancouver Island. He was 27 years old. Kevin was a true caver and explorer. A lover of life and its simple pleasures, Kevin was always traveling to explore what nature has to offer. If he wasn't on a mountain peak he was beneath Earth's surface. He discovered and aided in mapping various caves- primarily in Western Canada- and was very active in the British Columbia caving community. He never wasted a moment of life. We could all benefit from being a little like him. Though he is sorely missed, his light will shine on through the lives of everyone he has impacted in his short, yet extraordinary life.
