I think the article stated the wall was built around the turn of the century by people not knowing what was further back in the cave. I think they are guessing the age of the skeletons.
Here is a video on the find, but it doesn't say anything about there being skeletons.

https://goo.gl/kW3WiV Note that Ray Hartzell, the person that made the find posted this in the above referenced FaceBook post, in the comments section. Also, his brother-in-law stated in another FaceBook post that they have not given anyone the actual location of the cave until someone can research the find.
"Thanks for the post!! Actually, I found two separate tombs, a wall structure, like the one that was Ben's run or mount carbon, and several smaller mounds. I was exploring a remote area of the county and came upon fragmented sections of the wall. I then followed the wall to a clifftop, the tomb pictured is in the base of the cliff. The wall itself, circles the entire valley. The artifacts were in the pictures tomb. I have not thoroughly investigated the second one. Mainly because it is at the top of a very steep tall mountain, and is a pain to get to, lol. I will send you more pictures when I get a free moment."I don't know any of these people, I just did a quick search on FaceBook for their names and came up with this.
