Yes. Excellent place for a caving holiday.

My UK-based caving club had a three week trip back in November 2004 where we spent a week near Krabi in the South mapping caves followed by a couple of weeks in the North exploring new stuff and mapping known stuff.

Nice photos, especially the partying ones!

A friend of mine spent time in the northern part. Actually rode an elephant into giant passage. Another day they rode elephants into a remote area, crested a rise, and then slowly descended into what was actually a "sinkhole" that was several miles wide. It appeared to be chock full of relatively unexplored caves. Sadly, they ran out of time but at least they got a mark on the map for the next trip.
