suggestions for primitive camping close to bone/norman/sharp

Postby rickster » Jun 16, 2015 11:01 am

I am considering visiting bone/norman and sharps cave this weekend, all things permitting. Any suggestions for primitive camping areas?
Thanks. Anyone else going?

Well, there are two campgrounds that I have been to in the area. One is Blue Bend Campground in Greenbrier County which is near Bone Norman Cave in Greenbrier County and the other is Seneca Shadows Campground by Seneca Rocks.

It's not primitive camping, but you can pitch a tent: http://www.wvacs.org/facilities.html.

I believe that you need to be a WVACS member if you are coming to the WVACS Fieldstation on a weekend that is not a project weekend. WVACS have their project weekends on the 2nd weekend of each month which would have been last weekend.
