I have that also, but have never used it and can't see how to open the DistoUpdateV24 file using it or anything else on my phone.
I had started working on a new version of my standalone PalmOS calibration app that would support the new NL mode and let you update the DistoX2 firmware (neither exist for a DistoX) but I don't have a DistoX2 to test that. I did for a short time, but a bug in my upload loop failed to properly update the DistoX2 firmware (all memory blocks got written at same address), putting the unit in a non-usable state and we had to return it to Beat for a reset (in my opinion as an embedded software designer, a failure in a firmware update process should only result in a fallback to the previous version, not a general freeze). As for NL calibration, so far my C++ port of Beat Heeb's new C# algorithm does not return the expected values for his sample data set. I'll return to that code after I release Auriga 2.26 later this Fall.
