Does anyone have any info on how widespread this type of gravestone is and whether or not it is found outside of middle Tennessee? They are formed of two slabs leaning against each other with a cap on both ends and a long iron rod threaded through a hole midpoint on each end stone and held by bolts. I know of only two places but I suspect there are more. One is at the beginning of the trail leading to Waterfall Plunge and the other is Davis Cemetery near Big Bottom.
