nice. A little dated, no mention of the Fenix. I love philip's writing

Yep. Good effort, even with a few technical errors or typos and no mention of the old Apex waterproof issues. A few years ago I might concede the Stenlight was 'unmatched' in its class, but not any more. Those new non-Petzl custom inserts for Duos are good value for money too. Nice that rechargeable batteries get a 'plug' (pardon the pun), but the Energizer battery/charger combo shown in the stock image is complete crap. There's a big difference in quality and performance between these and Eneloops with an intelligent charger.

But hey, I'm just a critic and a hater. :wtg: :big grin:

IMO this is the best way to go with a duo. I still have one of the early gen models and I am ready to buy one of these when available.

I'm looking forward to Bif's new module or upgrade to the Omni. He's calling it the V-3 and says it should be available early December. :kewl:

Any info on the specs for it? I'm probably going to get one soon after they come out.

Probably the venerable Stenlights best competition. Led technology and the electronics to drive them, not to mention battery technology is smokin!

I've been using a combo of both spark st500 and sd500 and love the options and output. However these two lights are fairly heavy and are a bit much out front on the helmet. I've gotten used to it, and it's no a problem, but after comparing the weight of these two to the compatible zebra lights, I'm slightly regretful. The zebras are almost half the weight which would be great. I do prefer the UI and settings of the spark though.
