Some of us big kids are very serious about our "toys" Martin. :shhh: But I think you already know that.

Interesting to see my handwritten package after travelling all the way across the pond and surviving UK and USA postal services !

Might take you up on the offer of a beer. Perhaps at the UIS meet Brno 2013 ?

Glad you assembled it okay. You are absolutely right to refer to both Beat's instructions and my photo build book which were both in my shipping emails. Did the photo-book to show a few more piccies of a build and it is non-textual for those who do not have their own language instructions available.

Down to eight boards, all sold, including my original DistoX board from Beat.
One of the new build is not absolutely perfect.
Hoping to isolate the dodgy component or duff solder join and fix it otherwise I will not have one myself

There are now three obsolete components on the DistoX1 board !
There is one obsolete component in the current DistoX2 board design and a second component will become obsolete in October 2012.

Rapid parts obsolescence and Disto model updates make it difficult to keep pace.

The Disto A3 prices might now settle down to a more reasonable level on www.ebay.co.uk , one just sold, still four there at the moment.

Started a new thread because I managed to find all of the obsolete parts for a new production run.

Boards should be available end of June 2012.

Just a reminder. These DistoX boards will only fit the Disto A3 and Stabila LE50.
These usually appear on ebay especially www.ebay.co.uk
