I don't have any hands on experience but:
Having so many LEDs semi exposed could be a problem in cave.
All those LEDs and 60lumens!!!????? Commmon!!
And the runtimes on 4x AA isnt really spectaculAr.
And $100!!!

I like these lights in theory. But not in reality.

A buddy uses one. There is no throw at all. I'd never use one.

I would and will (one of these days) buy a sd6 over the fox furry any day.

When I first saw the fox furry I was intrigued, but they just don't measure up.

I can't wait to order a spark or two!

The guy that I know that has it, wears it usually exclusively, especialy surveying. He simply likes ambient light and doesnt care about throw. When he needs to see something high up for sketching, he asks one of us to light it up. Its simply not my style of light. The apex lights up the ground great with 4 leds. The fox fury lights up a little more with a ton more led's.........I think its a bad lamp, but like I said, my friend likes it for some reason. He doesnt use it in very wet caves though.
