haha last year the drums were the least bothersome...the random middle of the night "ka-CAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW" calling back and forth was what kept waking me up! Drunk bastards...

Well I will say that the bongo drums after 12 is a deal breaker for my Dad and I. We can sleep through the band and party people.

Just make sure you don't sleep close to the party side or main area. There is a lot of land up there, find a site way back in the quiet side :) I didn't hear the drums much at all and I was only about half of the distance away as I could've been.

Well after that hike back *up* after Anderson Springs, no wonder. I took a nap before the night's activities even! LOL. Good thing I didn't win anything in the drawing, I slept through that too.

We camp in the quite area, and the band and wahhooo's dont bother us, only the bongo drums after midnight.
If this is asking for to much let me know, that way we could save some money.

Usually Alvin, the band plays until 12. I think 12 - 1 AM is OK for the drum circle fans . . . but I agree they should have a time limit. I BTW, am not a fan though several of the drummers are good friends. They also know how I feel about it.

Agosnell, as others have mentioned, there is a quiet zone and its located on the far left side of the site. That's where all the families and old people stay.... :big grin: The drummers don't go into that area. If they do, you can let security know and they will handle it for you. Anything on the right side of the site (near the bath house or hot tub) is Margaritaville, aka the party zone. You may want to avoid this area.
