Caves that are little known and are way back in the boonies
seldom need gates (if ever).
Caves that are well known, in site of paved roads, near large
populated areas, or have
regular tourist visits (such as in parks), are the caves that are
most likely to need gates or some other kind of protection.
The likely hood of vandalism increases with the number of people
who are aware of a cave's location. Vandals are opportunists.
Therefore it is necessary to eliminate the opportunity to vandalize
caves which are well known and easy to get to.

Sequoia cave vandalized

Postby Ernie Coffman » Nov 25, 2007 11:55 am

And with that said, let's just shoot 'em! No trial! It saves money and time of the jury, so...let's just shoot 'em. Doesn't mean they have to be killed. Just shoot 'em! Maybe knock some sense into 'em! And, if there's a second time and they're caught, then go the whole route. Shoot 'em dead!

 I agree.....just shoot 'em in the knee the first time and then finish 'em off if they come back again.
