All,

Bill Gee (Chair of the Kansas City Area Grotto) and I were on NPR (KCUR) in Kansas City on Monday.

I think we did an OK job of presenting caves and caving. Check it out...

Bill did such a great job for his 'first time'.

The link doesn't work for me.

Works for me. It opens Windows Media Player for me. So you might try opening Windows Media PLayer and putting the URL into the player.

It looks like it's an MP3 file in the URL given. Have you anything on your Mac which plays MP3s? (I often have the same trouble with Windows-specific sound and vidoe formats as I run Linux at home).

Hazel and Bill
I listened to the interview, thought you both did an excellent job.

It was tempting to call in and ask for an explanation of stactite vs. stalagmite, but I behaved myself.

See both of ya around, underground!

Thanks, I'll try that stuff when I get home from work tonight or tomorrow. Meanwhile, from work, they block all streaming media.

Erm... yes, well that's a bit embarrassing.

I think it's probably in reference to my greasy hair and propensity to cuss. The interviewer actually gave us the nicest lecture I've ever had on not cussing on the radio. He was very polite in saying that we couldn't use the F-bomb!
