Two really good caving articles in national magazines this month (August).
National Geographic has a frightening story by Robbie Shone about being in the deepest known cave in the world when the water starts to rise. Fast. Along with a friend, he makes “The Climb of His Life” up, up, from the lowest levels in the Veryovkina system. What about the others in the cave?
The Red Bulletin has a prettier article focused on the ice in Kverkfjoll Glacier Cave in Iceland. There are photos of both the fire of Eyjadjafjallajokull and the ice of Kverkfjoll. :cavingrocks:
Try putting this through your spell check!
