I'm almost embarrassed to bring attention to this new cave movie coming out in a few weeks. No helmets is just the start of what's wrong with this production.

oh my gosh, I couldn't even make it to the end of the trailer!

I didn't really see this as a "cave" movie, unless I misunderstood the trailer. All of what they were talking about was man-made tunnels, the catacombs under Paris.Looks like a very typical horror flick, which I don't generally watch anyhow.

Yes.

This is not a cave movie. It *is* an underground movie, but not a cave movie.

Funny, though. When I was a kid and just starting caving, my grandma couldn't understand why I had an interest in caves. She grew up in Germany, and her experience of the underground was of catacombs with dead kings and queens. No, Grandma, caves are completely different.

I don't particularly like horror movies, either. Yeah, they scare me a little, but I just think they're stupid and pointless. To each their own, though. Most people think I'm nuts because I go cave diving.

Here's the tag-line: "In a world where spelunkers invade catacombs and Princeton Tec Apex lights last 12 hours"
