HAYS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Authorities in the Central Texas county of Hays are trying to figure out who left an improvised explosive device in a cave on private property.

"A constable was out serving civil papers when they gained information about a possible suspicious package at a ranch property on Farm to Market 3237 between Kyle and Wimberley," said Hays County Fire Marshal Mark Chambers.
