100,000 dead bats in Australia

The bats are apparently dying from hot weather. The articles mention colonies, but not the species or if the colonies are in caves

100,000 dead bats in Australia

Bob, the bats are mostly flying foxes, as you probably figured out. And, they're outside mostly. I have a picture of how they've been trying to keep them comfortable by spraying them with water, since the temps have been in the high 90s to 100s and for a period of time, so...not good, as one can figure out!
