Has anyone tried to get into LC since the acquisition?

Yes. The Nashville Grotto had a very nice picnic there this past Spring: Saturday May 24, to be exact.

You need to contact the Park Office at Falls Creek Falls State Park to get the details on how to obtain a permit. It may already be closed for "bat hibernation" by now. I'm not sure. They can tell you the dates the cave is open.

The State has built a very nice parking area/picnic area and it was very, very clean. I was impressed.
