Anyone ever heard of this? How goes the mapping effort?
Letting the days go by / water flowing underground
Into the blue again / in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones / there is water underground.

I remember this. I suspect the mapping effort there was completed long ago, but as I recall there are other ongoing surveys in the area.

Huh -- according to the linked PDF, this was Whalesmouth/Blowhole; we visited those this past March. I vaguely recall Peter Crossley saying they had been connected to each other, but also that it didn't turn out to be particularly interesting (sounded like a less than exciting dig) but I don't recall him mentioning moa finds.

Looks like there was still meat on the claw -- wonder if anyone tried it? :-)
