At the entrance of Whistling Cave in Spring Mill State Park, Indiana, we would bust through the ice, submerge into 3' high passage with 2' of water, then 20' in, we would do a true ear-dipper/half face-plant into the water, filling up your wetsuit. What a start to a surveying trip!

Yeah, that will wake you up in a hurry. Ouch.

I have a 7mm one piece that I wear in water that's 37 - 47 degrees. Water level is knee deep to above my head in places. The 7mm has always kept me toasty and warm.
Letting the days go by / water flowing underground
Into the blue again / in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones / there is water underground.
