Probably common sense but I'll say it anyways.... If you run across a lab or the remnants of a lab get away and don't touch anything. For several years with the fire dept we stood by while the GBI and sheriffs dept took these things apart in case they blew up. One house was blown up when a lab went off while they were cooking the stuff. Extemely bad air around these things too. We'd watch them bring everything out of the houses and everything metal was rusted from the bad atmosphere in there. New guns that looked like they'd been dropped in the ocean. Plus you've got the nuts willing to shoot you over their stash.

For a while in this area most of the structure fires involved meth labs. Around the country there have been many police officers crippled by the crap left over from cooking. I remember hearing about one deputy who went outside to answer natures call and neglected to take off his gloves, the chemical burns retired him from more than his job.

Meth lab fire- make that 53 ways to die in a cave.
Letting the days go by / water flowing underground
Into the blue again / in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones / there is water underground.
