Shouldn't they change the article title and "largest cave" claim to "largest cave passage". Afterall...........mammoth cave?......

After reading the article it's pretty clear something was lost in the translation and could be the translator simply didn't know about cave terminology. A room/passage 200m high and 150m wide is big. How big is that Mulu cave room?

Our own Bob Gulden is right on top of things here. This cave in Vietnam is now listed as having the Largest Passage/borehole in the world.
Defining "largest" is what it's all about. Area? Volume? etc.

That photo that accompanies the article does not even come close to a passage 200 meters high and 150 meters wide, based on the people in there for scale.
Maybe they couldn't photograph the BIG part?
Makes you wonder.
