Cumberland Caverns Christmas Party

Postby wyandottecaver » Oct 24, 2007 5:48 pm

How many folks will be at Cumberland this year? They are even offering some new off-trail trips this year. I'm planning to be there and was wondering who to look for :)

anyone know of a nice nearby cave that is 1) easy to get to. 2) has good access 3) easy to moderate in difficulty for the average caver. I'm looking for something to do saturday late afternoon or early sunday morning.

I have several friends who are talking about going. I've been in the past. It is something I think everyone should do at least once if they have the opportunity. It is a very unique event.

However, I won't be going this year. Date just doesn't work out for me.

Berta and I will be there, along with several members of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Rescue, Cave/Cliff Team. We will be caving Saturday before the Christmas Party. It is an annual Holiday event for us.:santa::xmas tree:
Looks us up and stop by our camp area and say Hi. Look for Berta's BIG 4wd white Ford camper van. :toast: :campfire:
Be safe,

Just saw a post this morning on a mailing list that the attendance numbers must be sent to the caterer on Monday Dec 3.

The post stated that there are still plenty of tickets left for the banquet and a few tickets left for the noon monument pillar cave trip and Historic route trip.

Furthermore, the post went on to say that tickets can be purchased by phone via credit card by calling Cumberland Caverns directly at 931-668-4396.
