Last weekend I got to be part of a trip to Big Bat cave in Breckinridge Country, KY. It was a great trip and we had enough people to work on two surveys.
We got through the new dig and it goes from very tight to big canyon really fast. I think it looks like we've made it out from under the sandstone cap. Lots of promising virgin leads waiting for people to some survey them.
The full trip report is on the KKC facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KentuckyKarstConservancy/posts/429171337278336
Here's a video of the formation waterfall at the back of the passage. Pardon the miscoloration, I was using a cheap point and shoot.https://youtu.be/2mDqP6Bc2qQ
