Learning more about Big Bat cave

Had a new cave trip this last weekend to an area of Big Bat cave in Breckenridge County, Kentucky. This part of the cave, the "compass room" has been explored before, but the old-timers are no longer around to describe it and none of the cavers in current groups have been able to find anything about the area out. The only semi-public map of the cave is a stick map that says the "compass room" is down this lead. This map is missing a lot of major leads. The other map that is more comprehensive is strictly private and not available to the local caving community.
