enlarging devices work either by mechanical force such as a sledgehammer/chisel, or by chemical force such as explosives. since effective enlarging of cave passages is a highly desirable product, many enlarging devices or their method of application are closely held trade secrets. Some methods may not be approved by local regulatory agencies.... :big grin:
I'm not scared of the dark, it's the things IN the dark that make me nervous. :)

It's a can of concentrated water, super saturated with carbonic acid, where one 12 oz can releases the amount of water tens of thousands of years would take to naturally deliver. ;) or, a "kaboom" device :)
