The Gouffre Berger-Retracing Original Expedition

"A new video uploaded earlier this week by Petzl takes viewers along on Team Petzl’s recent trip to France’s Gouffre Berger.

The trip, which took place this past August, was made to commemorate 50 years since cavers, including Fernand Petzl, first reached the record-breaking 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) depth at the cave."

An excellent film with amazing historical photos and footage of the original expedition interspersed with the recent expedition that retraces the route of the original explorers.
