TAG trip Nothern Alabama/ Huntsville Area

Were looking for people to join us on a small survey expedition. The over all objective is to attempt to connect the Vernal Well, Vinson Cave, and Herring Cave systems. All three caves have been explored/surveyed in the past, however we have located (2) new pit/passages in Vernal well that was most likely not accessable to the origional survey team. We found evidence of a dye trace report on the Net that proves that the three systems are connected via ground water, (not unusaul, as there close together), but we want to at least attempt to connect the three systems. If we could accomplish this, it would make the system one of the larger systems in the area (estimate between 20-30 miles of passage). We would need the following:

Experienced bolters/vertical cavers for the Vernal and Vinson systems
Good diggers, Horizontal cavers for the Herring system.

As of now Im attempting to put together an information packet for those who want to go. Point of fact, Herring is slightly flooded, and is only accessible via kayak or raft, but should be traversable on foot soon. Were going to recon it via kayak on thursday 1-12-12 and see what the levels are like. Also, if there are any cave divers who are interested, we believe we have also located the entrance to the MAIN AQUIFER in Herring cave. We are not skilled in diving, but would love for someone to check it out and add that to our survey.
