Networking for Kansas-Missouri area

Postby max » Jun 21, 2022 10:21 am

I am currently in the KS area and am looking for new people to go caving with. I have done some trips with the local grotto and have reached out to some of the Missouri grottos as well looking for some bigger trips, but I have a bit of a crazy work schedule and the grottos around here aren't super active. Let me know if you are down to plan out a trip in the area!

Hi Max -

What part of Kansas are you in? There is an active NSS grotto in the Kansas City area. https://kcgrotto.caves.org is the web site. There is also a grotto (non-NSS) in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Kansas has some caves, but they are generally nothing special. Missouri, on the other hand, has over 7500 known caves and a dozen active grottos.
