Fieldwork will be executed from 02 - to 24 June. We prefer an individual who can commit to the entire expedition; however, if this is not possible, the expedition is divided into two sessions for participation: Session I (02-12 June) or Session II (10–12 June). Participants are responsible for airfare from the U.S. to Calama, Chile (~2000.00USD) and ground transportation from Calama to San Pedro de Atacama (~20.00 USD). Must be First Aid/ CPR certified, and must have passed a physical within the last year. Missions objectives include: (a) upload data and re-launch microclimate instruments at study caves; (b) conduct near real-time data analyses of collected micro-climate data; and, (c) map and collect volumetric data of all study caves.
