If all goes well, before midnight Thursday for me.

Ditto. After about 14 hours of flying, plus the drive from the airport. I might be grumpy.

Ya'll be safe, have fun and learn a lot!
Berta and I will not be there this year. We will miss all of you and the activities. :waving:

We are off to Colorado later this month for a much needed vacation...Durango area for hiking.
Be safe,

Have a good one man.

I noticed you weren't on Anmar's Level 2 instructor list and was wondering.

I should arrive around the same time as Carl, about 4 pm. I plan to leave KS very early on Friday so I can get around/through the dreaded St. Louis road construction before noon.

Well, another year's seminar is over. Had a great time, had a GREAT Level 2 class.

And no signs of the dread Ferno's Syndrome here. :woohoo:

Thanks to Anmar and all the folks in the Central region that put together a great NCRC Weeklong.

I had a GREAT Level 3 and it was good to meet some of the folks here.

So what's the deal with the alien on the t-shirt? Is that an inside joke of some sort?

Had a great time, thanks to everyone who put in the time and effort to pull it off!

I'm glad folks had a good seminar. The real kudos go to Jess and Leanne who worked their tails off
to get it organized and set up.

Oh, and Greg, we have determined that Ferno's Syndrome was a localized event caused by a toxic waste
spill, so we shouldn't see it crop up elsewhere...

Chris, Lawrence County Indiana has three astronauts to its credit, so your guess is as good as anyone's...

Ditto about having a great week, and giant kudos to Jess, Leanne, Anmar, Trish, Paul, Harold, and the many others who helped make it a successful one.

Finally got home last night after sleeping most of the flight, and then promptly went to bed. I was a little fried. Somebody made the comment "imagine what NCRC would be like if everybody got enough sleep each night." Of course we'll never know.

I plan to upload some photos and video clips when I get around to it. I'll post the links here.

Yeah.. fantastic time.... not much sleep but lots of learning.

I'm still only taking 3 seconds to drink at water fountains though.....

The "use self-control" rule got me every time. :big grin:

Yeah, the #3 rule (use self control) in the water fountain areas was mirrored by the city park sign's #3; "No excessive drinking." Coincidence? I think not!

Thanks to all who made this possible. After looking at Rene Ohms' pictures of the Friday mock rescue (on Facebook) I kind of wish I'd gone underground after all (sigh). There's always Mentone next year...

The "use self control" sign also appeared in all the bathrooms. My other favorite sign was the one on Mrs Snapp's desk in the 5th grade (aka level 2) classroom. In black lettering about 6 inches tall on a red background, it proclaimed "NO EXCUSES!" :nono: I guess it's a harsh life, being a 5th grader.

Jay - even though you didn't get into the cave for the mock, your voice certainly did. That was some good comms. I'll be using some recordings as examples for students. You'll be famous. :big grin:

Oh and since it came up last week, I thought I'd look it up: Indiana Pi.

I prefer apple myself.
