Three Sofia cave explorers are blocked in the Duhlata cave near the town of Pernik, Darik News reported.

Luckily all three of the young men are safe. They entered the cave around 11 am on Sunday to explore the place. Their research had to end around 7 pm and an hour later they had to go out of the place. After they failed to do so, their colleagues from the cave rescue service formed a searching party.

According to preliminary information the three people were blocked inside the cave after a landslide occurred and made a threshold too high to be passed over.

The rescue action is still on the go. The rescue service of the Pernik town are now trying to drive a hole through the rock to take out the "hostages".
