Death over weekend in Kentucky

I don't have any more details. Does anyone else?

Story is circulating in the Cinc. and Dayton areas now.

The preliminary story points of experienced caver and lack of adequate equipment and techniques seem to disagree with each other though.

He does not appear in the NSS Members manual 2006. Sent note to see if he was member of GCG or DUG.

I am sure we will see much more of this story shortly.

Sloans Valley Cave accident

The news reports are often vague, incomplete, inaccurate, and contradictory. It would be very helpful if someone who was on the caving trip or was involved in the response and recovery operation would visit the American Caving Accidents web page at http://www.caves.org/pub/aca and submit an incident report using the online report form.
