Mmmmm. Breaking stuff in the classroom- good.

Breaking stuff in the field with live loads- bad.

That is why we use a belay; 'the belay does work better if it is attached to the load'. :doh:

A selection of photos from the recent seminar are available on the Facebook NCRC page, and they're public so you don't even need a FB account to view them. Sharing is fine, but please ask permission before using photos for presentations or publications etc.
