I wanted to make a post thanking all the instructors and support staff that made the OCR @ GSP possible. As a new comer to the caving community it is very easy to see the hard work and dedication to cave rescue that has been done in the past. I feel like a kid robbing the candy store when I can be given all of this info for such a small monetary cost.

Saturday was several house of brief lectures about the dynamics of Cave rescue. It was very apparent that all the instructors and helpers were very passionate and knowledgeable about caving and Cave rescue. Saturday afternoon we practiced using the SKED and the (in)ferno.

Sunday was a mock rescue with three victims in Climax cave. All of the scenarios were well planed and executed by the staff and students. I feel that we are very lucky to have a group like NSS and NCRC to make this training possible.

Respectfully
Jason
